SRVEGH MONASTERY
Srveg Monastery was built in the 13th century.
The main church of the monument group is a domed hall built of baked bricks.
Only the lower rows of walls, about a meter high, are lined with dark pink polished andesite stones.
After the Cyrena Monastery, this is the second brick church built in the Middle Ages on this territory.
Srveg Monastery, Mount Serakar , a dilapidated Armenian medieval monastery complex.
It is located 3 km southwest of the village of Aygeovit in the Tavush region of Armenia, in a place called under the cross, on a high slope of a wooded clearing.
